What the scene here is like
Where Miami is fast and visitor-heavy, Broward is built more on residents. The pace is slower, conversations are longer, and newcomers report a much gentler introduction.
It also sits at the centre of the tri-county corridor, so couples here can reach Miami and Palm Beach easily and often treat all three calendars as one.
Where things actually happen
Activity spreads across the western suburbs — Plantation, Davie, Coral Springs — where houses have space, with the beach and Las Olas corridor carrying socials.
I-95 and the Turnpike make the whole tri-county corridor accessible, though rush hour makes a north-south trip painful. Most events start late enough to avoid it.
Timing, seasons and travel
November to April is peak, boosted by seasonal residents. Late summer is hot, humid and quiet, with September the low point.
